Configit was founded in April 2000 by Professor Henrik Reif Andersen, Associate Professor Henrik Hulgaard and three PhD students from The IT University of Copenhagen. The core technology in the software is based on more than 10 years of research in formal verification of hardware and software and constraint solving.

Today, Configit has a staff of highly skilled people with MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Engineering. Configit has headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Configit is profitable, financially strong and has a Dun & Bradstreet AA-rating.

Management

Henrik Reif Andersen, CEO, is a professor and cofounder of Configit. Henrik has 25 years of experience in IT development and research. The last 20 years Henrik has conducted research within formal verification and configuration technology.  

Lars Høgsted, VP Sales, joined Configit in 2003 after establishing Siebel Solutions as a business area for Danish IBM affiliate EDB Gruppen. A Masters in computer science and physics has not stopped Lars from gaining more than 12 years experience of managing international sales of complex IT-solutions.

Henrik Hulgaard, CTO, is cofounder of Configit and holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of Washington. He has worked as an Associate Professor at The IT University of Copenhagen and published more than 25 international articles.

Simon Mørk, VP Solutions, joined Configit in 2008. Simon has a background of 8 years with Danish ERP provider Maconomy and comes from a position as support manager. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and has worked as an external lecturer at both the IT University of Copenhagen and DTU.
